Where Stories Travel

Inside this website you will find a collection of stories, projects and ideas gathered over many years of writing, teaching and travelling.

When I began writing stories, I wrote them primarily for myself. I never imagined that, one day, they would reach so many readers in so many different countries, or become part of classrooms, conferences and projects around the world.

Some stories have won awards.

Others continue their lives in classrooms every day, helping learners discover English through reading.

Some are personal favourites, stories I still return to years later.

And then there are stories that are hidden inside projects, stories that have, over time, almost disappeared.

I wanted to create a space where all of these stories could live together

This is not only a library of books. It is also an archive of experiences. A place to share conversations with teachers, experiments with storytelling, cultural exchanges. I want this web site to be a place where people can come to talk about reading and language learning.

It does not matter if you are a teacher, learner, writer or simply curious. I hope that you find something useful here.
